OPPO Reno7 5G

The aim of OPPO Reno7 is to offer users a new experience which combines style with the innovative technology. OPPO is bringing the best of both worlds to the users, the latest styles, and design technology. The self-developed Fiberglass-Leather Design complements the simple but effective spliced camera. The phone also has the smart design that Reno Series fans have come to expect, with a thin and lightweight body and other practical features that provide a new level of usability.

The back of the phone, for the Star Trails Blue variant, drew our attention first because it resembled meteor showers in our galaxy. OPPO stated that the Galactic Rays we see were created using LDI, or Laser Direct Imaging. It is said to have been the first smartphone company ever to use such micron-level LDI patterns. On top of this it also has a matte finish on the back, which helps to prevent fingerprint smudges.

Next, we consider the camera; Both the design and material of the camera module are very stylish – it even has an optical illusion! When you look at the camera it appears to have star trail colours , but if you look at the sides, you'll see the camera lenses themselves.

The OPPO Reno7 itself has a 6.4-inch FHD AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass 5. In addition, the phone’s typical brightness of 430 nits can be increased to 800 nits when displaying HDR or HDR10+ content. Users can enjoy the display with the 90.8 percent screen ratio to experience immersive viewing. The screen protector comes pre-installed out of the box that makes the phone’s display secure already. The selfie camera can be seen located on the upper left side of the phone screen, appearing obscure, however the placement proves to be great for viewing angles. No matter, users can enjoy the portrait and landscape modes with the cleverly placed selfie camera.

Lastly the Reno7 has a 135 percent sRGB on vivid mode and a 103 percent sRGB on gentle mode, and the Rigid LTPS AMOLED display just bursts with colours back-to-back with its 90.8 percent screen ratio, making it an excellent smartphone for binge-watching.

Like many other OPPO smartphones, Reno7 is equipped with a triple camera setup. The rear camera assembly features an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 64MP main camera, and a 2MP macro lens. Doubtlessly, the phone performs amazingly for its camera quality, keeping in check the dazzling colours and vivid tones. Whether one needs to capture photos of things from a distance, or close-up shots, the phone’s camera does not disappoint at all.

There are multiple shooting modes available, as well as having AI Portrait mode. What this provides is DSLR-like portraits with its deep bokeh feature that goes down to 0.95 f/stop (Aperture) and can go up to 16 f/stop for details on a whole scenic view. AI Highlight video is another great feature that helps HDR in motion by dampening harsh sunlight and dim areas in any environment.

Reno7 has Snapdragon 680 and Adreno 610. The storage is 128 GB, and the ROM is 8 GB. The refresh rate is also great i.e., 90 Hz. The panel is AMOLED. All this hardware and panel combine to enable the phone to deliver smooth performance for the users.
